A Gift For You

A Gift For You

Jesus gave us a gift when He explained what He liked and disliked about the Seven Churches in the book of Revelation. Jesus said- He had a few things against the Loveless Church, Corrupted Church, and Compromised Church. He was not all the way pleased with these church members. He told the Dead Church members that He found their deeds unfinished and told them to wake up, and he told the Lukewarm Church members that they would be vomited out because they are not cold or hot. The gift that Jesus gave in the book of Revelation is a gift of warning and a call to repent.

Jesus encouraged the Faithful Church members to be careful not to lose their crowns.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. Revelation 3:10-13.

Jesus told the Persecuted Church to fear not, expect persecution, and to remain faithful!

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10

Those who confess that Jesus is their Lord and Savior should be interested in getting, being, and staying faithful to God. Could it be that through the gift of Revelation (chapters 2 and 3), Jesus is showing us that the Faithful and Persecuted Church members are those who are on the Lord’s Side?

If you have not yet done so, take the Free Seven Churches Self Assessment (thelordside.com) and see which church you may be a member of. If you are not firmly found in the Faithful or Persecuted Church, repent and be restored. God is looking for those who have an ear to hear. Hear God and obey for God knows exactly who you are, where you are, and the plans He has for you are good. After all, God wants for no one to be lost (but to receive all to repentance) 2 Peter 3:9. This self-reflection process is designed to help you walk-in the good plans God has for you. I pray you accept this gift with thanksgiving and that you are abundantly blessed.
